How do I place an order?

You may place an order through the orders page on our website.

You will be taken to our store, powered by Oddle.

You can choose your products and add them to cart, validate the contents of the cart, and provide information regarding your personal details. Please indicate your pick up/delivery dates and time and indicate remarks as well as preferred payment method. Once you accept the general terms and conditions, you may confirm the order and validate payment.

Can I change or cancel my order?

No refunds, exchange, cancellations or amendments is applicable once payment is processed and completed online.

By confirming your order, you express your acceptance. Payment for the price of the products makes the order final and no amendment of the order may be entertained or taken into consideration by Food Folk thereafter. We will confirm your order by sending an email to the address provided by you. We reserve the right to cancel or refuse to accept any order if any disputes arise.

Please note that in some cases, we do allow for changes or cancellation. If you’d really like to do so, please contact us and we’ll do our best to assist you.

Food Folk is open from Mon-Fri, 11AM-2PM for pick up and delivery.

Currently, our service area is limited to Wong Chuk Hang (and other areas on HK island for corporate clients only) but we are expanding quickly. Please contact us to see what Food Folk offers in your neighbourhood.

What is Food Folk?

Food Folk is a healthy, all natural kitchen dedicated to cooking real food for lunchbox delivery or takeaway. We go beyond wholefoods to give you food raised or grown naturally and we’re picky about quality and taste. Our chefs create fresh, delicious dishes of all sorts ranging from decadent burgers to vibrant salad bowls. Plus, there are always vegan and vegetarian options too.

How does it work?

Head over to our order page. It’s really quite straightforward – simply enter your address in the sidecart, and we’ll show you all the delivery or pick up options. Choose the dishes that tickle your fancy, put together your order, confirm your address and payment details, and that’s it – we’ll get your food to you as soon as possible!

How do I place an order?

Can I order in advance?

Yes, of course! You can schedule orders for up to a month in advance and choose any delivery or pick up time that is available. Please note that we are always changing our menu and therefore some dishes may not be available for your desired future date.

Can I pick up my order?

Yes, of course! If you choose to pick up your order, you will need to do so at our location:

Unit A, 14/F Derrick Industrial Building, Wong Chuk Hang, Hong Kong

Do I have to tip?

Gratuity or tip is completely optional. In fact, our delivery drivers do not expect a gratuity. However, if you enjoyed our service and would like to extend a tip, you can do so with either cash upon delivery or specify the amount at checkout.

Do you accept cash?

Yes, we accept cash for delivery orders. Simply select ‘pay by cash’ at checkout and you’re all set.

How are the meals delivered?

All Food Folk meals are prepared and kept fresh until they’re delivered to you. Packaging depends on the type of food you are ordering. We take great care in using eco-friendly packaging that maintains food temperature for as long as possible.

How do I choose my delivery window?

Go to the orders page. In the side cart, you can see that we have automatically selected the earliest delivery or pick up date and time for you. If you’d like to choose a different delivery or pick up window, click on the “change dates and time” link and select your desired time and date.

If you’re unable to change your delivery window, please contact us and we’ll help you out.

How do I redeem a promo code?

If you’re lucky enough to have a promo code, you can redeem this during the checkout stage. Just pop your code into the ‘enter a promo code’ field and that’s it, cheaper eats on us!

How much does delivery cost?

Delivery generally costs $30 for same-day deliveries. Delivery is free for orders above $300. Check out our store and enter your address to find out how much delivery costs to your neighbourhood.

Is there a minimum order value?

Currently, we do not have a minimum order value set for our primary service area (Wong Chuk Hang). For corporate or catering clients, the minimum order value varies depending on the neighbourhood.

What if something is wrong with my order?

We’re dedicated to our customer service and make sure to look after your entire Food Folk experience from the moment you place an order on our website through to it arriving at your doorstep.

However, we do understand that sometimes things might go wrong. In the rare case that this happens, you can always contact us or give us a call at 2812 0446 and we will look into this for you.

What if I forgot to add something to my order?

Once orders are confirmed and payment is made via our orders page, they cannot be changed.

However, please contact us and we’ll do our best to make sure you get all the items you want added to your order. We may have to issue a separate order and add it to your existing order, and of course we’ll do our best to ensure you don’t get charged extra for delivery.

What if I’m not around when the delivery driver arrives?

If you think you won’t be at the delivery address in time to receive your order, please let us know by emailing us or calling us at 2812 0446.

Our driver will call you if there is an issue once they reach your delivery address. If they are unable to get hold of you, our customer support team will try and reach you via phone and email. Please check your phone and emails during the delivery time for any updates.

If we cannot contact you and are unable to deliver the order, our delivery driver will wait for up to 10 minutes before leaving the area to complete the next order. In this event we are afraid that you will still be charged for your order. To prevent this from happening, it’s always a good idea to double-check your contact and address details.

What if my order is late?

Our deliverymen and women are running around as quickly as they can, but sometimes things happen outside of our control and can cause a delay. Where we can, we will always try to proactively call you if we feel that your order might not arrive or be ready within the estimated time of delivery or pick up. Rest assured that our team is always working on getting your order to you as quickly as possible.

Why isn’t delivery free?

We charge for delivery so that we can pay our drivers. They are a dedicated group of professionals who have been background checked and trained. We don’t believe in robots delivering your food.

Account & Setup

How do I create an account?

Click the “Sign In” link on the orders page to enter your details and create an account. You’ll be able to set a e-mail address and password and enter your credit card and address information, too. If you add items to your cart without creating an account, you’ll be prompted to do so before you checkout.

Is this site secure for my credit card?

Delivery address and payment information will be securely saved to that account and you won’t need to re-enter that information to place orders going forward.

We take security seriously.

Food Folk is backed by top-tier payment gateways, PayPal and Stripe. Your credit card number is never stored on any of our servers.

Food Folk is entirely a SSL-protected site. All transactions are processed using secure encryption (the same level of encryption used by leading banks).

Does Food Folk offer company accounts or corporate catering?

Yes, we are dedicated to assisting you with your office group order, catering and events needs! Get in touch with us now!

How do I add an address or multiple addresses to my account?

When logged in to your Food Folk account on Oddle, go to your Account Page (under “Personal Info”) and you’ll be able to add, edit or remove addresses. If you have trouble saving an address, feel free to reach out to us.

Can I order from my iPhone, iPad, or Android phone?

Absolutely! As long as your device has a web browser, you can order from us. Our website and order page is fully responsive and made to work on devices of all screen sizes!

What’s the food like?

We offer freshly prepared and cooked small bites, big bites, sides, desserts, and beverages. We use only the freshest, all natural ingredients so you don’t have to eat the same old boring lunch at the office or home again.

We use food that is raised or grown naturally and we’re serious about quality and taste. Our cuisine is contemporary and innovative, nutritious and healthy, and we have options for everyone, from meat lovers to vegans to kids! Just take a look at our menu and try for yourself!

Can I make special requests to my meal?

If you have any special preferences, just drop us a line during the checkout stage (“Additional Information”) and we’ll do our best to accommodate your needs.

Are the meals organic, free-range etc?

We care deeply about both the quality of our ingredients and keeping our meals affordable. When we have something special to say about an ingredient, we always try to let our customers know.

What if I have allergies?

If you have specific allergies and are concerned about any items on the menu, please contact us directly.

We make an effort to list out all the ingredients on our menu so please read through carefully to make sure you are not allergic to any of the ingredients used in the item before ordering.
